The Clinical elective program at Lerdsin Hospital
The clinical elective program at Lerdsin Hospital is aimed to give students full -time clinical experience from Mondays to Friday. It is conducted under supervisor/attending, without hands on activity.
Choice of elective
Students should apply 8 months in advance.
Total period of program is 2 to 4 weeks
Postings applied for are subject to the availability of vacancies and supervision, and the approval of the Head of the respective clinical department.
Postings are available in the following departments:
1. Department of orthopedics
2. Department of Surgery
3. Department of Medicine
Regulations
Students must conduct accordingly to the rules and regulation for our college and hospital.
Students are expected to dress properly (black pants and white shirt for men, long dress for women with leather shoes) and to wear a hospital gown when working in the wards. Students should bring their own white gown and stethoscope.
Accommodation
Students are responsible for finding their own accommodation and for all their living and traveling expenses.
Upon arrival, we will try to find a place for you at the University dormitory.
However, there is a shortage, especially during the school year. Therefore we cannot guarantee that rooms will be available.
Visa and passport
